There’s another reason beyond dislike for a decision. It’s to quietly strip you of your rights while no one is looking. It’s how Dobbs happened. It’s how mifepristone access is being rolled back. I’m literally watching it happen in real time but I’m a woman so no one listens to me.
I have a Keycite alert for Obergefell and Bostock and see stuff like this constantly from certain judges--gratuitous citations to the dissents for no apparent reason other than to signal dislike of those decision. This particular case is about Iowa environmental law. It's wildly inappropriate.
