⚖️ update: US v. City of Newark (click through to the first table, it’s one of the original lawsuits - the us suing Newark over its sanctuary city policy) - the doj filed Newark’s new Delaney hall policy with the court yesterday and claimed Newark is discriminating against the US.
Can’t make it up.
⚖️ As I anticipated last wknd (when I posted this neat table), NJ filed another lawsuit RE #delaneyhall: Washington v. The GEO Group. Filed June 2 in state court; . GEO had it removed to federal court the SAME day—before the corp had even been served(!?) Hijinks.

Here’s a fuller picture of the Delaney Hall legal landscape — in addition to NJ’s lawsuits against the GEO Group, the United States is also suing us in two lawsuits. And we’re also suing the U.S. over the Roxbury facility.
I didn’t include the criminal indictment of LaMonica McIver in this table.
