It’s June 5, 1926, and the Empire Theatre in Anacortes, WA is showing “The Man in the Saddle,” starring Hoot Gibson. Gibson's the star, of course, but Fay Wray (“King Kong”) plays his love interest, while Janet Gaynor (“Sunrise”) and Boris Karloff (“Frankenstein”) appear as uncredited extras.
