I'm rewatching Batman: The Animated Series and I'd just like to ask what current cartoons are carrying the same torch as this '90s cartoon?
The cinematography and lighting is better than most live-action films on Netflix and everything so far is just FLEXING.
Go watch the Clayface two-parter.
Also Batman's personality has a uniqueness to it that we don't see in the later live-action adaptations. It's this sort of...fatherly warmth at times, like when he interacts with the Catholic priest.
Then again, he basically waterboards a guy in the Clayface two-parter so he contains multitudes.
