Queer disabled chronically ill nerd trapped in Texas

I’ve got a sneaking suspicion (I know) this might be (totally is) a bad PEM crash.
Not being able to move w/o worsening vertigo, deafening tinnitus, not being able to get comfortable at all, & the #VisibleApp going off as I spend 15mins trying to make a coherent post is kinda a giveaway.

A reminder that the names of the rune letters in Elder Futhark are not written down in any ancient source, so we have to reconstruct them from the names in later sources, & that leads to clear answers less often than viking/rune influencers would lead one to suspect. I got 4.5hrs
…provided we agree to ignore the hr+ of knowing I really needed to stop being at my desk, but just wanted to do one. last. thing. several times.
But, hey! it only took an hour of laying down quietly in the dark before I was okay enough again to start to be bored 🙃

My eldest son came in to talk, & it was a reminder of how lucky I am.
He talked about his fear of losing me, & how much the idea that I may never recover from long covid or go back to mild ME/cfs hurts him.
Then we talked about the everyday beauty in my life, how loved I am, resiliency, & hope.
oh yay
I woke up again
The big variation from day to day is what time my body falls to bits.
*increasingly suspenseful music* will it be in 2hrs…4hrs….could it be <thunder crack> 5 hours!!?!
*whispering* only time will tell
<distant evil cackle>
As someone living with Long Covid, I would like to see this irresponsible article retracted. It was written by someone who's not a doctor, nor a researcher or even a medical expert. Not even with lived experience.
Misinformation dressed up as discourse.
