seems like a dece enough excuse to play through bananza again though. there's like actual for real challenges like "do the final gauntlet with zero upgrades"
i have partaken in the donkey kong challenge and i'm not impressed. like i didn't expect a retroachievements quality experience but like as far as the retro game challenges go it's all kind of nothing. every single one is "beat the level" and they just let you rewind as much as you want
when i die i want to pass surrounded by my loved ones before i go ERGH and then explode, releasing a power star for one of them to collect accompanied by a brief musical fanfare
