If you could only judge a book by its cover... Daniel Blythe does Shada, but replaces wit with laboured attempts at emotional depth. Tediously angsty, impossible to follow and a version of the Doctor that has nothing at all to like. (And don't get me started on Ace, the girl who wouldn't grow up...)
