"Robin Hood heist" seems too meh
But we should come up with a snappy name ... and hope and pray more novelists are interested in writing them and publishers are interested in publishing them
(Dear Hollywood: Over here still drumming my fingers waiting for "The Payback" to be optioned for TV/film)
It's also law in Illinois! My State Rep, Theresa Mah was a sponsor of the legislation.

There is so much racist BS happening around African & Middle Eastern WC teams traveling here right now & it should be a huge story. Both in terms of the US as a host country & FIFA enabling it. South Africa is in the opening match & that’s only possible right now because it’s hosted in Mexico.

I feel like we need to name this subgenre of crime caper (like Kashana Cauley's "The Payback") wherein regular folks are compelled to do extraordinary things — extraordinary things within the bounds of reality and their skill set! — in the name of not letting corruption remain the status quo
But anyway, am I surprised we're not seeing more of these kinds of stories on screen?
No. No I am not. Hollywood is run by the kinds of captains of industry who would be the villains in these stories. They do not want to give audiences any bright ideas about trying to change the world!

We should all try to remember to do the Dutch reach when getting out, opening the car door not with the hand closest to the handle, but the opposite hand. It encourages you to turn and look at both the side mirror and behind you to see if a cyclist is there
On the driver's side, use your RIGHT hand

If you're looking for more like this, I really liked Aya de Leon's Uptown Thief, and there are more in the series I haven't read yet.
