RIP Alan Rothwell, the laid back, soothing face and voice behind countless soap operas, drama roles, and Scarred For Life favourites Picture Box and Hickory House (and his role as heroin addict Nicholas Black in Brookside was an all-timer)

Pulpy crime pick up from Emsworth’s Magic free book shop Telephone box yesterday. Love the sleazy James Bond inspired cover on this one. Have to admit the title is kind of giving me Alan Partridge vibes too.
I always forget 33 years ago I had a very brief stint in the computer games industry. Believe it or not this is the first time I've ever seen this game being played. Crazy to see it again after so many years or to actually hear the Rick Wakeman soundtrack. Always remember designing those cockpits.
