You know a funny thing about this book? When it came out someone said, "This is such a cool take on the zombie genre!" I was confused. I didn't write a zombie book. Until I thought about it and realised they were right. Hidden City IS, in part, a kind of new take on the zombie genre. I'm such a pro!

This has me thinking.
The other day while waiting for a tram, a guy came up and started chatting.
Roughly 10 mins of chat, the tram arrived, he wished me a good day and disappeared.
I think we've learned that people are scary so no-one talks or makes eye contact anymore.
Just saying hello with no agenda can make someone's day.
(I am very much a please-don't-speak-to-me person, but I attract a certain kind of oddbod, and that's okay with me.)
