Sure, you *might* like your tax dollars going to hire doctors or properly ventilate schools or whatever, but have you considered the Bentleys? Where are *they* supposed to go while their owners are having cucumber slices placed gently over their eyes and their pores exfoliated with avocado scrub?
The new five-storey building will include 3,500 parking spots and 680 electric vehicle charging stations, and the government hopes it will generate $60 million in annual revenue.

This ~3,500-space waterfront parking garage is baffling for many reasons, but let’s focus on the accounting. Prov says it’ll generate $60m a year. That’s about $47 per space per day. For comparison, the garage under City Hall does $14 per space per day. St. Mike’s does $24. Sankofa Square does $30.
