New research from me and @antonspisak.bsky.social – we identify how much Brexit has reduced goods and services trade with the EU, and what’s responsible: leaving the customs union or the single market?
Answers: large hit to trade, mostly due to single market exit 🧵

Here's the Iran-US MoU, and it's pretty much a severe strategic defeat and capitulation for the US and a massive strategic and economic victory for Iran. Really an utter humiliation for the US thanks to Trump's naked incompetence.

UK Govt spent billions during the pandemic, which added to our national debt.
War in Ukraine/Middle East has sent debt interest 🚀

This from Gidon Baer, Geological Survey of Israel, at @esa.int FRINGE 2026 shows the wider impact of lowering of the Dead Sea - sinkholes and shoreline subsidence. Examples of which show up clearly in the InSAR.
Reporting from The Guardian's @willchristou.bsky.social found evidence of construction equipment from at least six multinational companies being used to destroy homes, public utilities, shops and other structures in southern Lebanon:
