I will never understand the obsession with replying to each other by quoting each other's posts. *Especially* if you are an account with a blue check next to your name.
We invented threading for a reason. Having to click through multiple boxes to keep reading is maddening.

I just saw an ad drift by for an “AI notary service” and two things: NO, also how in the hell is that legal?

I think I have done pretty dang well for myself and my family but this is where I am at.
If Metro goes over the cliff and it becomes a choice between rent or a car, I will have to move out of Seattle. That’s what will do it, not an added $30/year in sales tax expense.
