I help writers to shape their stories and hone their skills via developmental editing, coaching, beta reading, workshopping, and more. As a writer, I enjoy kid lit and exploring fantastical worlds. πŸ‰ https://editsinthemargins.com/social

The more tired I am, the more I tend to talk to myself, which is always fun for the people in my life who will yell from another room, "ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?!" and I'm like, "Oh . . . no. I forgot you existed."
It's so funny: I started posting to Pinterest again (just similar to what I post here: prompts, Dear Writer, etc.). And so I started getting the occasional like again, but it's all for the same post it always is: a quote from The Last Unicorn I posted probably over a year ago. Nothing else ever. πŸ˜‚

What's the difference between suspense, thriller and horror? Suspense: I'm afraid someone is going to stab me. Thriller: I'm running away from someone trying to stab me. Horror: Someone is stabbing me. 1/4

Dear Writer, Don’t be afraid to try something new. Experiment with style, take the story in a different direction, write outside of your comfort zone. It could lead you to discovering something wonderful that you didn’t know was possible. Whatever the result, you’ll learn something. Love, Kayleigh
