Based on visual evidence, damage reports and radar, the NTP is confirming that there were at least 2 tornado tornadoes in NW AB last evening - at least one affecting Girouxville / Enilda, and another near Nampa / Harmon Valley. An NTP damage survey team is on the way to the affected areas. #ABstorm

We’re off to a cloudier-than-expected start to Friday in Edmonton and we may even see a couple sprinkles/light showers in parts of the area this morning.
Based on numerous reports / visual evidence, the NTP is confirming that at least one tornado occurred in the Peace River area in northwestern Alberta last evening. There are multiple reports of damage that appear to be associated with the tornado. An NTP damage survey team will be deployed #ABstorm.
