BREAKING: Greenpeace activists have CONFRONTED a piece of Shell drilling equipment that is getting ready to extract oil in UK waters - even though Shell DON’T HAVE LEGAL PERMISSION to drill Why is Shell IGNORING high court rulings that FORBID them from extracting oil at Rosebank?
Shell just announced £15.6 BILLION in annual profit for 2025 - whilst the bill for damage caused by extreme weather in the UK was £2.8bn. Oil Giants are making huge profits off climate destruction, while the rest of us have to foot the bill. Anyone else think this is unfair?
Thrilled to announce that Unearthed and @greenpeaceafrica.org have been nominated for a One World Media Award 👏🏆
SHOCKING FACT: If you earned £18,000 a day from when Jesus was born to the present day, you STILL would not make as much as Shell did in profits last year
More UK oil & gas WON’T: ❌ Lower bills ❌ Stop the war in the Iran ❌ Ensure our energy independence It WILL: 🔥 Accelerate the climate crisis 🔥 Make extreme weather WORSE 🔥 Make the super rich even richer
Their investigation uncovered mountains of fashion waste including garments from British brands Next, M&S, and Asda’s George choking protected Ghanaian wetlands. These vital habitats are home to both local fishing communities and endangered sea turtles.
Sign our huge people-powered petition telling the UK government to force Shell and other fossil fuel companies to pay for the damage they've caused: act.gp/3ZPWjRJ

GOOD NEWS: Spain has announced a scheme to grant legal status to 500,000 undocumented migrants. Instead of unleashing state violence, we can create compassionate, legal routes to documentation. Who else thinks the UK should be following Spain's lead, NOT the US'? edition.cnn.com/2026/01/27/e...
