the most benign possible headline to run on an article about Donald Trump saying “I love the inflation."
She's straightforwardly saying schools’ federal funds are at risk unless they reduce their Black student population to something Trump is more comfortable with By design, the safest way for schools to avoid suspicion is to not admit Black students at all ballsandstrikes.org/law-politics...
it's the "tearfully" part that escalates this from "completely inexcusable false assertion" to "these motherfuckers are OANN with a more prestigious name"
(They wouldn't answer any of these questions but I would thoroughly enjoy 6 or 7 minutes of making unmistakably clear to them that they are right-wing idiots before the call abruptly ended.)
if I was a reporter whose beat was the news media I would call the Washington Post company and ask them several precise questions about how this right-wing lie made it into their editorial. Who wrote this line? What was their source for it? Do they frequently take that source's assertions as Truth?
Still not on either the NYT or WaPo homepages: Trump: "I love inflation"
