In public health, you learn an awful lot about people willing to profit off of harms to children. But my jaw is on the floor. It never occurred to me that the sentence “I’ve put a couple kids in the hospital” would ever be followed by the phrase: “But here’s the thing.” @jackiantonovich.bsky.social

Many women have been horrifically killed here in the past 5 years, including at least 7 who were stabbed multiple times, and their deaths did not receive statements from the PM, debates in the commons, or global news coverage. Nor were there any riots, or condemnations of cultures by politicians.
In at least 21 of the 30 deaths, the killers - or the suspects in their killings - were well-known to the women.
