I love cycling, but my least favourite thing is seeing wildlife dead on the roads killed by people driving cars (aka legal/normalized killing machines) :(
Got inspired to go on a bike adventure next month after attending the Bikepacking workshop series. I love that we have access to a local shop that builds community and inspires people to get out there with their bikes.
Cute interactions I've had cycling on Crescent Heights:
- a guy passes me on his bike and yells "Yay, bikes!" back to me
- three little girls walking after school say hi to me when I pass by them

I am truly getting close to thinking like a mechanic... I dreamed that I had a pile of awful bike winter tires that I needed to fix 😅
