PS this isn’t the budget bill that guts the climate law. That’s probably coming next week to a debate/vote. Legislators should VOTE NO on that segment of the state budget!

A HUGE tax benefit for energy efficiency for multifamily middle- and working-class NYC co-ops & condos is in a state budget bill passing shortly.
It’s called J51. It covers 100% of the costs of upgrades, and lasts through 2035.
