It is NOT a fun "fish-out-of-water" exploration of a newbie's journey into a dom/sub relationship.
It IS a look into what an emotionally stunted sociopath does when he preys on a depressed introvert.
Ultimate moral of the film?
"LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!"
