Brought to you by listening to the Münich Philharmonic Celibedache. Much more my style than the most recent recording which was Thielemann with Staatskapelle Dresden.
Of course it makes sense to have two orchestras playing Bruckner 8 in NYC within a week; Bychov used the Nowak 1890, Nézet-Séguin had used the Haas previously and the program note on the Carnegie page suggests this time will not be different

Elim Chan conducts the NYPhil. Great to have a chance to hear Carter Brey as the soloist in the Saint-Saëns concerto before he retires at the end of the season.
