Every time I use the correct word for the situation, people say I'm being elitist lit guy, but they're just trying to make their lack of a vocabulary my problem to solve. I don't expect randos to know what didactic means. I do expect them to know what benevolent means.

everyone I know that's not a native speaker know and use stuff like that all the time, how can a native college level not know
