Did you know...most dust storms originate from a tiny fraction of #desert landscapes? Jasem Alabanai's awesome #SeeLikeAGeographer photo shows one such area - the northern tidal flats of Kuwait Bay. At low tide, these mudflats are one of Kuwait's most active dust-emitting surfaces.
