Oh, this was actually one of my mom's pet peeves. "What do you mean adding rocks makes the garden more "organic"? Do those rocks have CARBON IN THEM?"
I got a "humph" when I said that the word is older than that particular definition so that organic, non-carbon-bearing rocks are perfectly legit.
