The Senate deadlocked at 48-48, Maine Republican Susan Collins became the 49th senator to declare her vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, News Center Maine noted.
Kavanaugh would go on to vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.
"I do not regret that vote," Collins said.
