ok you can work around this by making a throwaway account, adding it so it lets you create the gc, then instantly kicking it out
somebody should make a tool that automatically scrapes the firehose for groupchat links and retains them all on the backend, then you can sign in to have it automatically sign you up for every publicly posted group chat

this is a problem with diff renderers, not a problem with the syntax. diff renderers could easily be patched to display end-of-line comma changes just as succinctly. that's a tooling issue you shouldn't mangle languages' syntax about it
