Beatles fan. North of England way. ///o-o\\\ πŸ‘ πŸ•‰οΈ ✌️

If you were fed up with your Dad telling you how great the sixties were and you secretly knew he was right and wished you were there, these wonderful retro music scene meanders might just be the musical time machine you need!
Reactions to this are interesting. Many of those on the Pepper sleeve were dead when the photograph was taken. The picture used by the OP here is perhaps arresting instead because it captures our sense of something familiar - the Beatles, the 60s, C20 - passing into history. We're next.

Had a magical evening at the Roundhouse last night. A real privilege to see Paul up close as he talked about every track on Dungeon Lane & sang along. Macca was relaxed, happy & very funny in the company of Rob Brydon. A wonderful experience! Lovely to hang out with @cherryaimless.bsky.social too!
Paul McCartney caught in a paparazzo's flash bulb as he left the Roundhouse on Wednesday 10th June 2026.

I saw this statue in front of a bombed out church in Liverpool and it reminded me so much of Macca's memorable, cinematic Pipes of Peace video.
Such a buzz to see Macca this week at the Roundhouse. It felt very intimate and special. Paul was on top form and clearly enjoyed talking to Rob Brydon enormously. A real privilege to see Paul share insights into his new songs with his fans and watch him joyfully singing along. Magical.

A browse through a '67 Record Mirror, guided by the extensive knowledge and expertise of @petepaphides.bsky.social and @chrisshaweditor.bsky.social who roam across the musical landscape of the day, leaving no stone unturned, putting the Beatles in their often-overlooked contemporary context. Fab!

On the other hand, the music on this album is still incredibly fresh, exciting, vibrant, stunning and mind-expanding. An immortal joy!

Just been travelling on the Chester Road! The beautiful timber-framed building behind me (The Bear & Billet) was the birthplace of @johnlennonofficial.bsky.social 's maternal grandmother, Annie Millward, in 1873.
