Walking in Darwin’s footsteps we saw orchids galore, grasshoppers, bugs and a highlight was seeing a small blue butterfly.
A brilliant AGM this afternoon in Lenham. We heard about reptile monitoring in The Blean, survey of Local Wildlife Sites (we'll be visiting several this year), and work on a new shieldbug atlas for Kent (which we'll be publishing). #naturalhistory #KentNature

Spring is coming fast now. Wood anemones are beginning to flower and the male hairy footed flower bee is buzzing around the flowers.
First buff tailed queen bumble bee for me this year.
