a pause as charlotte considers her options. she points to her lips, but hastily moves her finger towards her forehead just in case he didn't want to. a blush was staining her cheeks.
"anywhere. . . . you would feel comfortable kissing."
Both hands move to her cheeks, fingers run along them gently as he smiles a little.
"Yeah. . I was just teasing. . Where do you want it? "
He says, still teasing her yet the question was as serious as could be.

"i would like another kiss, please. i wanted to express my happiness and appreciation for you. . . .was that okay?"
charlotte looked confused and pensive. just in case she suddenly crossed a boundary, but then she realized he was laughing and felt silly for being so nervous.
"Hey , what was that for? "
Fingers move up to his cheek, blinking after the kiss.
"I was already returning the forehead kiss earlier, did you want another or something?"
He laughs a bit under his breath.

a very short pause. charlotte fully registered the kiss and gently placed her glossy lips on his cheek. they were fragrant like cherries, though she mostly had a scent of strawberries and vanilla.
"there," she replied with satisfaction, a beaming smile turning up the corners of her mouth.
"Evil, more like."
His hand continues to scratch and pet her cheeks . . Sighing, he leans down and pecks his lips at her head. A soft kiss.

charlotte's eyes slowly closed. seemingly enjoying the petting and the scratching. both hands continued to clutch at his sleeves as she resisted the urge to rub her head on his arm like a cat.
"i'm being sooo nice," the hedgehog exclaimed, another little giggle escaping.
naughty. . . . .
Eyes still looking to the side, before sighing as he looks down at her. Petting at her head.
"Yeah, yeah. . Be nice. ."
He mumbles a bit , moving his hand from her head down to scratch at her cheek gently.

charlotte stopped kneading his hoodie, eyes widened again as she registered what he was saying. the blonde blinked her languid doe optics and glanced at him; taking note of the rosy cheeks. a little giggle escaped.
"you likeeeee me," she teased, all in good fun, before hugging him warmly.
"I mean . . Yeah. You're nice, i enjoy hanging out with ya so far. . You're cute, and. . A lot of things, but . . Yeah. "
He says, cheeks becoming a tad bit rosy as he looks a bit away.

features flush even more. the sol hedgehog was gently kneading his sleeve again, little purring noises erupting as ears twitched slightly. she nudged into his arm and finally relaxed.
"r -- really? you think so? that makes me very happy," charlotte exclaimed, purring even more.
Blinking , he takes a moment to ponder his own thoughts. He can't say he's surprised, he was wondering about it for a while.
"I mean. . That's fine , of course. "
Perhaps some feelings were developing for her in return, but.
". . I think. . I might feel the same way. . ? A small crush, i mean. "

now peering up at him with a pensive expression. the sol hedgehog was fairly nervous, but she slowly nodded and tightened her grip on his sleeve for comfort.
"i mean. maybe a little bit. you don't have to feel the same way if you don't want to," she said, clearly afraid he might feel forced.
"You don't have to stop. . It's not making me uncomfortable or anything, just uh. . Dunno , just feels like. . Idunno. "
He's always unsure of how to approach something like this. But it's not like he's pulling away from her.

brown optics widen even more and she suddenly presses her face in his arm to conceal her flushed features. a slight shudder ran through her; probably due to anxiety.
"ah. . . . i can stop if you aren't comfortable with it," she replied, too shy to comment on the last remark.
He wants to comment over how clingy she is, but he fears she might think he might mean it negatively.
" Not much is different for me either. . Just, about the same. . With how much you're hugging at me , you might make me think you got a crush or something, ahah. . "

"I've been playing games and working and reading. i usually don't do much. how about you? what have you been up to?"
she immediately clings onto his arm and rests her chin on it. staring up at him with large brown eyes.
