charlotte stopped kneading his hoodie, eyes widened again as she registered what he was saying. the blonde blinked her languid doe optics and glanced at him; taking note of the rosy cheeks. a little giggle escaped.
"you likeeeee me," she teased, all in good fun, before hugging him warmly.
"I mean . . Yeah. You're nice, i enjoy hanging out with ya so far. . You're cute, and. . A lot of things, but . . Yeah. "
He says, cheeks becoming a tad bit rosy as he looks a bit away.

features flush even more. the sol hedgehog was gently kneading his sleeve again, little purring noises erupting as ears twitched slightly. she nudged into his arm and finally relaxed.
"r -- really? you think so? that makes me very happy," charlotte exclaimed, purring even more.
Blinking , he takes a moment to ponder his own thoughts. He can't say he's surprised, he was wondering about it for a while.

Perhaps some feelings were developing for her in return, but.

"i mean. maybe a little bit. you don't have to feel the same way if you don't want to," she said, clearly afraid he might feel forced.
"You don't have to stop. . It's not making me uncomfortable or anything, just uh. . Dunno , just feels like. . Idunno. "
He's always unsure of how to approach something like this. But it's not like he's pulling away from her.

brown optics widen even more and she suddenly presses her face in his arm to conceal her flushed features. a slight shudder ran through her; probably due to anxiety.
"ah. . . . i can stop if you aren't comfortable with it," she replied, too shy to comment on the last remark.
He wants to comment over how clingy she is, but he fears she might think he might mean it negatively.
