Had a blast participating in the Congressional Baseball Game! This was my second time playing, and I still can’t get over the fact I got to play in a big league ballpark in front of tens of thousands of screaming fans, and once again got a hit, driving in the Democrats’ only two runs of the game 💪🏼.
My career average dropped a little bit after this game, from 1.000 to .667, but I’m still outpacing Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani 💅.
For 14 years, DACA has allowed Dreamers– those who came here at a young age but don’t have legal immigration status– to live, work, and build families in the only country they have ever really known.
The American people deserve to know whether President Trump’s pardon process was conducted in the interest of justice, or whether money, influence, lobbyists, or personal connections played a role.
Dreamers are our neighbors, coworkers, and loved ones. They contribute to the fabric of our country every day, and they deserve the certainty to keep building their futures here.
Happy Islamic New Year to our Muslim community here in Orange County and around the world!
Wishing everyone who celebrates a joyful day as neighbors come together in prayer, reflection, and remembrance. I hope Muharram brings peace, health, and blessings to you and your families.
Orange is a symbol of safety—and a reminder that our children, our neighbors, and our communities deserve to live free from the threat of gun violence.
Gun violence is a public health crisis, and Congress has a responsibility to act.
I was honored to join my colleagues on the House steps today to wear orange in memory of Hadiya Pendleton and every life taken or forever changed by gun violence.
Presidential clemency is one of the most serious and consequential powers granted to the President. It cannot be allowed to become a vehicle for rewarding political allies, wealthy donors, fraudsters, or insiders with access to the White House.
