I tell people at cons that to stick with drawing or any kind of art, you need two things:
1) have so much fun you can’t stop
2) train yourself to have a high frustration tolerance
If you have 1 and not 2, you won’t improve. If you have 2 and not 1, it’s a miserable chore.

I miss the old deviantART so bad. Especially the notification system. New posts/journals neatly organised by artist, there until you deleted them so you never missed anything. I found SO many artists through dA. Then they had to ruin it and there's never been anything like it since
the creator of this also just released an in-game media player bc they just really REALLY want this game to just be VRchat, instead of doing the normal thing and logging off to go play VRchat instead
