“Lines for My Last Day, Whenever It May Come”
— Joseph Fasano
I knew that I wanted to post a Joseph Fasano poem this month, but I had a hard time deciding which one. Finally, this one felt right. You can find many others @josephfasano.bsky.social.
You have only two tasks on this hard earth: to love (to love with all of you) and not to get to the end, with all its wreckage, and find out that the voice in you that you silenced was the beautiful truth all along.
A writer's greatest advocates are his translators, so I'm deeply moved to receive a new selection of my poems translated into Italian by Pietro Federico. You can get a copy of this lovely bilingual edition here: www.edizioniensemble.it/prodotto/il-...
My whole mission is to break down the barriers within ourselves that lead to the barriers between each other. Thank you, Kelly, for inviting me to chat. Remember, everyone, your life is not a crime. ❤️

Today is my birthday, which is always a day of complicated feelings. The greatest gift is just being here, being able to keep changing, to keep becoming, in the hope that the work I'm doing is helping in some way. ❤️
I truly hope this finds its way to all who might need to hear it.
Thank you, @kellyclarksontv.bsky.social, for amplifying the voices of teachers and writers at a time when we need our shared humanity more than ever. ❤️
I found my new poem, "Happiness," after a very difficult time in my life, and I'm so glad to be able to share it with you all. It's up now on my IG: www.instagram.com/p/DZYF7gyFoh...
