One thing I always stress at my school visits is that there's a book out there for everyone. If you're not a reader, you just haven't found the book that's your portal into reading yet!
(You can always ask a librarian or bookseller for a recommendation!)
My husband has never been a reader but he bought Project Hail Mary to read on the train. He's almost through it and now today we're having guests over, and he keeps disappearing upstairs to read. So that's it, it's happened, he's a reader now.
