(Yes, I am very aware that PLR programmes exist in many other countries - I am originally from a Commonwealth country)
Some ways things could be easier for authors:
- TIMELY PAYMENT!!!!!!
- a PLR programme
- higher advances (to be paid on signing and on delivery, max), and higher royalties
- royalties on RRP, not net
- not deducting returns from royalties
- strong union protections, incl healthcare, retirement
