At this point, I genuinely believe the entire public is being actively gaslit by both the media, and Esther Ghey herself, into forgetting that Brianna Ghey was murdered, by people she knew from school, in real life, who were partly influenced by transphobia, fuelled by the media and politicians.
Imagine owning Double Fine and even *considering* closing it. The history of Double Fine is the history of the games industry itself. This is a crime.

Call me le old fashioned, but I don't think deepfakes should be legal anyway. If you're using tech to generate deepfake content that isn't artistic or intrinsically needed for your game's package, and doing so without the original talent's knowledge & consent, then you should lose a gazillion bucks.
