With the new layout I will be able to run much longer trains with larger locomotives, have two running lines, different yards and industries, and just more opportunities for running my trains.

Making good progress on the layout, almost all the main buildings are built and starting to get painted, and some of the fun paintwork is getting done. Here is a mural for the side of one of the town buildings.

Finally got my hands on a logging loco for a good price. Picked up this unpainted Rivarossi Heisler, it runs good but is a bit noisy. The mechanism is very interesting to look at too. Planning to paint it to something more than all black to make it nicer to look at.

I had my old layout torn down. All the buildings, trees, and salvageable details were removed and are to be reused as I am currently in the works of building a larger and even better layout! Track work is mostly complete on the new one with just the wiring to be completed to work.
