Last week 50 international delegates visited Park Farm as part of the fourth session of the UPOV Technical Working Party on Testing Methods and Techniques. They attended an AI workshop, visited the field trials and learnt about Niab's work gene transformation, data science, pathology and more.

The Niab Board and Trust, the TMAF Board, the East Malling Trust Board, and invited guests, including Defra Chief Scientific Advisor Professor Anjali Goswami, toured Niab HQ this week, seeing the crop transformation labs and glasshouses, before engaging with staff about the breadth of Niab's work.
