While I'm not gonna be hyperbolic and say it was "ruined", this feels dismissive to people who just didn't like all the crafting?
b/c it wasn't "just one mechanic", it was THE mechanic. Almost everything is locked behind it, and not everyone has the spoons to "get creative" when trying to relax.
