Just some folks having a nice day installing solar panels.
Note that this robot used isn’t autonomous - human operator - but it is new technology relative to humans grabbing panels from the pallet and carrying them over.

‘18GWh BESS in 18 months…Saudi Energy…world's largest grid-forming battery cluster - 2.5GW/10GWh…five sites…installed by Alfanar Projects using BYD (DC block) & NR Electric Co. (MV skid) technology…2,000+ PCS units providing primary frequency control, dynamic voltage regulation, and black-start’
Working the AC side of the project. Started on the electrical side because the town took a while to approve building permit, but allowed the electrical side to get going.

Pepsi says Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Cris Dush, Michigan Republican Rep. Dave Prestin, and Michigan Republican state Rep. Cam Cavitt are ignorant lying rodent pieces of shit.
PepsiCo “has not issued blanket guidance to growers that fields with solar installations will not be accepted.”
That’s a really big module…
‘CHSM72N version offers a power output of 800 W to 825 W, with module efficiency of up to 24.4%…module measures 2,595 mm × 1,303 mm × 33 mm’
‘Solar generation fell 3.9% YOY while wind rose 33.1%…increase in wind tracks SunZia, the 3.5GW New Mexico project that reached operation in May 2026…led to a surplus of supply in the evening that flattened the discharge window batteries depend on.’
Solar down 3.9% - gonna have to research this.
Kore was always a bit weird to me…it’s hard to make a company, especially when you compete with a country that doesn’t play by the same rules. Still Kore seemed like a marketing exercise versus a battery company.

Astronergy has launched its Astro N8 Pro series at SNEC 2026, introducing n-type TOPCon modules with power ratings of up to 825 W and efficiencies of up to 24.5%.
18GWh of BESS in 18 months 🚀
Saudi Energy has commissioned the world's largest grid-forming battery cluster - 2.5GW/10GWh across five new sites: (Riyadh, Rabigh, Dawadmi, Al Jouf, Qaisumah).

CAISO battery revenues fell 28% year-over-year to $2.78/kW-month in May. SunZia's 3.5 GW wind project reached commercial operation that month, lifting wind 33% and creating evening supply surplus. Flatter discharge windows compress battery margins.

Site work ongoing.
Racking components from SunBallast onsite. Working through getting used to using a new product - many fewer components, but they’re heavy. So goal is move them once - meaning layout technique needs be solid.
Competed electrical work from grid connection through AC panel.

Construction site visit tomorrow. Starting racking and module install on a 670
KWdc rooftop. Will be installing SunBallest for the first time.
Charging car while shopping for my driving tomorrow.
