Seeing how some indie games announced in the SGF trailer-mills are getting buried, I don't think the summer game fest is worth getting into as #indiedev
I mean.. the AAA content mills are buying their way into these shows with demos of games that are at a glance.... glossy but cheap shovelware.
To many great small or niche games are getting buried, in lieu of what are obviously VC funded cashgrabs, many of which will crash and burn (seems some already have).
I pray this is the last crop of shitty "free money" games from the covid era.. cuz their blocking the good stuff
