I thought of a backstory for this while doing it, Xue Yang is a cannibalistic mermaid who used to eat humans until Xiao Xingchen found him. Xue Yang would like to eat Song Lan, but Xiao Xingchen won’t let him because he wants to keep Song Lan. 😌
