A welcome addition to the collection, with a wonderful chapter from my colleague and friend, Vicky Brady (who is not on here).
Important perspectives throughout, and one for after my current workload!
The thing I love about short story collections is that I don't have to commit to anything too heavy.
Discovered Kevin Barry's work last year too and I highly recommend!
Was listening to a podcast on Irishness earlier and it felt a bit "off". Turns out it was scripted and created using NotebookLM.
It's all getting a bit too pervasive!
I've very much been enjoying this podcast series from @marekmcgann.bsky.social discussing his recent work.
Highly recommended for psychologists, students, and anyone interested in the field.

POC have to work twice as hard in Ireland
1) Do the actual work
2) Do it better so we're categorised as "good migrants"
Can Ireland be next please? This should have been made a thing a century ago.

Little late posting here but... happy to share my first research article exploring the gendered and classed barriers to access in Irish DJ and electronic/dance music scenes. You can read this, and other research exploring class in the Irish creative industries, here: arrow.tudublin.ie/icr/

My esteemed
@micireland.bsky.social Psychology colleagues Suzanne Egan & Chloé Beatty are giving this webinar next Tuesday, outlining a more nuanced approach to children's screen use. (An area that frequently lacks nuance).
Registration is free.
