For decades, scientists have been puzzled by the gruesome deaths of gray seal pups. Injuries start at their mouth and corkscrew down to their chest, tearing down to the bone but leaving the rest of the body intact. Now they think they've finally identified the 'corkscrew killer'. @science.org
