Correct. Late Dad went on strike with @local26-unitehere.bsky.social several years ago to fix the Marriott contract, and if it wasn't for the strike fund, we wouldn't have had electricity. Strike funds are important, and for a general strike, even more critically so.

ALSO ONE OF THE REASONS WHY PEOPLE CAN AFFORD TO STRIKE FOR MORE THAN A DAY IS BECAUSE UNIONS HAVE STRIKE FUNDS AND ACTUALLY SUPPORT EACH OTHER
