Found this absolute gem in the heart of London - St Etheldreda’s Church! Crypt & fabric date from mid thirteenth-century. Was chapel to the palace of the bishops of Ely, hence dedicated to their seventh-century founder Etheldreda. What other medieval marvels am I missing when I visit the capital??
