The partnership between writer @writerpoetjohn.bsky.social and illustrator Thomas Docherty continues to flourish. It Won't Be Forever, their third collaboration, beautifully explores the anxiety young children can often feel when separated from a loved one. Very special indeed.

Fantastic afternoon watching @michaelrosenyes.bsky.social at the Norwich Playhouse. It doesn't matter many times I hear No Breathing in Class, it still makes me laugh.
Very pleased to be delivering an online session for @wensumenglishhub.bsky.social on Wednesday afternoon. Lots of practical ideas and book recommendations. It's free to attend so do come along.

This morning, our whole school watched @empathylabuk.bsky.social's Empathy Day Festival assembly, featuring SF Said and Mark Ruffalo. Exploring how stories can help us understand the lives and experiences of others was a wonderful way to launch our empathy work.

I watched a fantastic adaptation of Crossing the Line by @tiafisher.bsky.social last night, a book which tackles the growing County Lines crisis.
In the Q&A session afterwards, I was delighted to learn that the team are now planning to take it into secondary schools across the country.
