One of the things I love about drawing is that it changes how you see the world. You notice more. Take time to observe.
Same with writing. It helps me order my thoughts. Listen to others. Pay attention.
Doing these things has never been about the end result or the quality. It’s about the process

When I was illustrating a ‘Libraries in Pop Culture’ article, I really struggled with the Sunnydale Library illustration. Buffy meant - means - a lot to me and I wanted to get it right. I drew so many versions of Giles’ glasses acting which I never used. Here are a few. RIP Anthony Stewart Head.
