It would appear they’re chewing up and removing all of the bush, possibly so nobody can camp there anymore. Seems excessive

Weird, 2 days after a journalist/potential councilor posted about a homeless encampment, it's swarmed with bylaw, cops, and heavy equipment.
Trillium path past Commanda may be closed. I didn't bother trying.
So where will these people sleep tonight?
